God’s Grace in Jesus Christ’s Finished Work is Greater than man’s works and sins.

EPH 2 “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins…..we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. “

All people have sinned and cannot do enough good works to be saved. Nobody is perfect like god.

Therefore God showed His great love to us. Jesus Christ who never sinned died for our sins. He rose from the dead to give us salvation by grace.

When we believed in Jesus, He came to live in us and we became one with Jesus, as Sons of God.

Why is salvation not based on works? It is because man’s works are nothing compared to the perfect finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Before we knew Jesus, our works could not attain salvation, our sins could not disqualify us After believing in Jesus, our works cannot maintain or disqualify salvation.

Salvation is based on God’s unconditional GRACE. Jesus did all the work that we could never do.

We WERE dead in sin when we did not have Christ. But we were made ALIVE with Christ, we became SINLESS, FORGIVEN all sin, RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, BLAMELESS, BLESSED, SANCTIFIED, GLORIFIED with Jesus when we believed.

This is the GRACE of GOD. He made the believer seated in Christ. God sees only Christ in us.

God does not see our imperfect works anymore because Christ’s finished work is greater. That is why the work is finished by Jesus. We don’t need to do any works for salvation!

God does not reward your for good works or punish you for bad works.

God ONLY sees Christ’s Righteousness in us.

As Christ is sinless, so are we sinless, As Christ is righteous, so are we righteous. As Christ is the Son of God, so are we God’s children.
