God says that unbelievers are sinners because they are judged by works.

Romans 4 “4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation.”

When a person is not believing in Jesus, then they are judged according to works.

They get what they DESERVE.

If they did even one sin, they are guilty of breaking the entire law (James 2:10).

Sin is man’s works that FALL SHORT of God’s PERFECTION.

Unbelievers are sinners no matter how many good works they do.

Therefore they perish in death. They receive the wages for their works which is death because of sin (Romans 6:23)

What about believers?

Romans 4 “5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness…apart from works”

The believer may not have any good works at all.

God sees the believer as RIGHTEOUS without works.

Why?

Its because Jesus never sinned but DIED for our sins. He rose from the dead to make us RIGHTEOUS.

Romans 4:25 “JESUS was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

Christ became sin and we became the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD.

It is not by works – it can never be works! It is GRACE ALONE.

Therefore God does not command works to ANYONE.

He only commands people to BELIEVE in JESUS to be SAVED.

Therefore God never commands any works to believers.

It is because our works cannot make us perfect.

We are already righteous without works.

God does not command us to confess or repent because the BLOOD of JESUS made us SINLESS and PERFECT

THE WORK IS FINISHED….

BELIEVE in JESUS to be FORGIVEN ALL SINS and RIGHTEOUS without works!
