There are many good human beings, who did good deeds and tried to improve life on earth, and they are declared by the world as good people and rewarded with praise, accolades, awards, etc.

But in God’s eyes, all men are not perfect by their behavior, no matter how good it is in earthly standards.

Romans 3 ““There is no one righteous(perfect), not even one;”

All the good deeds of men are like filthy rags before God, because they are not perfectly divine like God.

No matter how good a person’s behavior is, they are nothing compared to the Glory of God.

Romans 3 “, ²³ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

All men die because they have sinned by being not perfect. The sin of man is that they are not perfect like God.

Romans 6:23 “²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So then the Good News is that God came to the world as Jesus Christ who lived the perfect sinless life.

He died for our sins and rose from the dead to make us righteous, if we believe in Him.

Romans 3 “²⁴ and all are justified (PERFECTED) freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. ²⁵ God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. “

If we believe in Jesus, we are made PERFECT like Jesus Himself and became SINLESS like God.

Colossians 2 “⁹ For in Christ all the PERFECTION of GOD lives in bodily form, ¹⁰ and in Christ you have been brought to PERFECTION……¹³ When you were dead in your sins(IMPERFECTIONS) God made you alive with Christ. He FORGAVE us ALL our sins”

The PERFECTION of God is in Jesus and He died with us, and He raised us up, having FORGIVEN all our sins and therefore the believer is PERFECT like God and Jesus!

The world rewards people based on their good works, being rich, being famous, being powerful, etc…That is the wisdom of the world. But all that wisdom is foolishness in God’s eyes because man’s goodness is SIN and nothing compared to the PERFECTION of God.

God’s wisdom is the opposite of the world. Through the Cross He makes us PERFECT no matter what our deeds are!

1 Corinthians 1 “¹⁸ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. ¹⁹ For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;    the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” ²⁰ Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? ²¹ For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. ²² Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, ²³ but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, ²⁴ but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. ²⁵ For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. ²⁶ Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. ²⁷ But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. ²⁸ God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, ²⁹ so that no one may boast before him. ³⁰ It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. ³¹ Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

The believer is the one who is PERFECT, RIGHTEOUS because Jesus died on the cross.

The believer is PERFECT because Jesus the PERFECTION lives in us!

The believer is WISE because Jesus the WISDOM of God lives in us!

The believer is HOLY and RIGHTEOUS because Jesus the HOLINESS/RIGHTEOUSNESS of God lives in us!

The believer has the INFINITE perfection of God Himself….He has given us ALL His glory! That is why the believer will LIVE FOREVER with God !!

1 Corinthians 1 “⁴ I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. ⁵ For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— ⁶ God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. ⁷ Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. ⁸ He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The believer is PERFECT spiritually and lacks nothing spiritually…we are COMPLETE and PERFECTLY blameless in Christ Jesus our Lord who will give us immortality at His 2nd coming while all unbelievers will perish.

This is the Gospel !!

Everyone who believes in Jesus is PERFECT and RIGHTEOUS, forgiven ALL sins without doing any works!!
