You died and Christ lives in you as our Righteousness by faith

Galatians 2 “20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!””

Before we knew Jesus, we were sinners, dead in sin.
We did not have eternal life.

But Jesus loved us so much that He died for our sins and He died with us.
Then He rose from the dead.
When we believed in Jesus, He came to live in us.
Now it is not we who live but Christ alone in us.

God does not see our flesh but sees Christ living in us. We died but Christ lives in us!

This is why we are Righteous and Sinless and Perfect by faith and not our works.

Gal 2 “So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works”

It is because our old self died and Jesus is our new self.
Jesus is our Righteousness!
It is Christ in us the hope of glory!

Colossians 1 “Christ in you the hope of glory!”

When people look at us they may judge us and see no difference but when Jesus comes back He will reveal the Glory in us!

1 John 3 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”
