To those who say that Faith + Works for salvation…read this.

Do you love to quote this:

James 2 “faith without deeds is useless?…..a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”

But have you read how much works was required ?

James 2 “8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11 For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.”

If you need works, then the work required is PERFECTION….

Did you obey this command?

Matthew 5:48 “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Luke 12 “33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor.”

Luke 14 “25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.”

Matthew 5 “27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”

If you have not obeyed these commandments then don’t say that Faith requires works.

Please stop trusting in your works.

Don’t be a hypocrite (pretender), you and I are not doing the perfect works!

Nobody can be perfect in their behavior! None of us are!

It is because works has nothing to do with salvation.

Jesus and the Apostles put the requirement of perfection to show that nobody can be saved by works.

Stop adding your imperfect works for salvation.

The faith that saves you is without works!

Romans 4 “4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.”

We are perfect by the blood of Jesus by faith and not our works!

Hebrews 10 “10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all….14 For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are made holy.”
