Nobody preaches Paul’s Gospel today

Paul preached salvation by grace through faith by following Jesus, repentance from sin, and judgment of works.

Ephesians 5 ” 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.”

– Paul told believers to follow Jesus Christ, matching the commandments of Christ before the cross.

– Paul told believers to get rid of ALL sins just like Jesus preached in the Sermon on the Mount.

– Paul warned them to not be deceived because God would judge anyone who lived in sin.

– If believers were saved no matter what they did, then there was no need to warn them of any deception.

The judgment was going to be based on works, so then they had to stop sinning completely.

Colossians 3 “23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.”

Colossians 3 “5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.”

If God’s wrath was coming on those who sinned, then what do you think would happen to believers who did not stop sinning?

They would be condemned because they had rejected the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 4 “3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.”

Romans 8:12-13 “12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.”

What do you think is an obligation?
Its a commandment to obey.
If the believer disobeyed Jesus, then there was no salvation.

They had to endure all the deception and lawlessness in those last days because Jesus was supposed to judge the world in AD70.

2 Timothy 3 ” But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.”

Ephesians 6 “11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

But Jesus never came because the Church disobeyed Paul and fell into deception.

Acts 20 ” 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.”

In the end, nobody can follow Jesus or stop sinning.
If Jesus came back then the entire world including the church, would have gone to hell.

The law ended in AD70.
There is no more sin.
Jesus has forgiven the entire world and will never judge us.
We are righteous by birth because there is no more law.

Let us stop judging one another.
As Christians, we should stop thinking that our puny faith without any works or repentance will take us to heaven.
We are no better than unbelievers.
Nobody is going to any hell.
Jesus loves us all.
We are all the children of God our Father.
This is the Good News that God will never judge the world thanks to the finished work of Jesus Christ.
