Jesus is the true Lord and God

Every religion in the world is man’s perception of God through their own lens.

But if you look closely, every religion depicts God who rewards people based on their behavior.

“Do good works and God will bless you, but do bad deeds and God will punish you.”

But this is not the true perception of God. No man had seen or known God truly until Jesus Christ came.

Jesus came from the Father full of grace and love.

Jesus did not come to punish us for our sins but to suffer horribly and die a brutal death for our sins.

Jesus came to forgive our sins.

We did nothing to deserve God’s blessings.

But this is God, this is love, that He came to die for our sins to forgive us and make us righteous freely by grace and not works.

Romans 5 “You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

1 John 4:16 “God is love”

1 John 4 “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. “

God loved us not because we loved Him or did good deeds.

We were all sinners but God loved us unconditionally, by coming to the world through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus did good, healing the sick, forgiving all people. He carried all our sickness and suffering on the cross so that He can heal us and save us.

Isaiah 53 “4 Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.”

The only reason Jesus came to the world was to show us that God loves us.

John 3 “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. “

The only reason Jesus came to the world was to suffer and die on the cross for us, to forgive us!

Luke 23 “33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” “

The greatest sin the world has ever committed is to crucify Jesus, and yet He Forgave the entire world.

He came to take our sin and suffering to give us forgiveness and righteousness freely.

Romans 4 “24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

No other religion or god has loved us so much.

Only Jesus has loved us so much, He loves us unconditionally. He died for us while we were sinners. He forgave us on the cross. He made us righteous without works. We receive all of this by faith and not works. It is by grace and not our efforts.

Man cannot see or know God by his own efforts because our eyes are blinded by our efforts and wrong perceptions of God. But when we turn to Jesus, we see the glory and love of God – the unconditional love of God on the cross.

2 Corinthians 4 ” For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

You see why Jesus is Lord and God.

God is love and this is love that Jesus took away our sins on the cross unconditionally.

When Thomas doubted Jesus, this is what happened:

John 20 “But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!””

Jesus shows us how much He loves us by His body that was crucified.

His wounds show that He took all our suffering and sin and death.

But He rose from the dead because He forgave us and made us righteous freely!

When we see how much He loves us personally that He carried all our sin and suffering on his body, we know that Jesus is truly Lord and God.
