We live in a world with many religions and spiritual teachings.

So why is Jesus the Only Way? He said that He is the Way, the Truth, the Life and nobody can come to God the Father but through Jesus.

Many religions in the world claim to be the only way. So how do we know that Jesus is the only way?

I was born into a Christian family, but that was not the reason I believed in Jesus.

My parents had told me to believe in Jesus but I didn’t really know Christ until I became an adult.

I received a personal revelation of Christ, not because anybody told me to do so. I experienced the unconditional love when I believed that Jesus forgave my sins. I had never experienced this unconditional love anywhere else in my life, such a great love!

God is more loving and kind than any human being – and I experienced this unconditional forgiveness from Jesus who accepted me in all my imperfections and failures like nobody else had done.

Nobody had seen God until Jesus came and He said that He and the Father are one. He said that if we see Jesus or know Jesus, we have seen/known God.

Every other religion does not have this unconditional love. Every other religion has imperfect men who said that they came from God (example: Mohammad, Buddha, etc…). But none of them claimed to be God and none of them behaved like Him. All those religious leaders may have taught about doing good and avoiding evil.

But nobody has displayed such great love as Jesus.

Jesus revealed God in His body – by loving everyone unconditionally. He did good to everyone without taking revenge or even cursing anyone. He turned the other cheek, He always blessed people. He did miracles and loved people like nobody else has ever done.

More than His miracles, is His love that stands out.

God is love and Jesus Christ displayed it in His life on earth. Perfect love that forgave those who betrayed Him, deserted Him and crucified Him.

They hated Him for no reason and tortured and crucified Him for no fault of His own, and what did He do? Did He bring fire down from heaven? No…Did He curse them?…No….Did He remain quiet? …No….He blessed them!

This is what He said:

Luke 23 ” ³⁴ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Have you seen this kind of love anywhere?

This is the worst crime that was ever committed by humanity.

Why was the crucifixion of Jesus worse than any other sin committed by man?

We have seen innocent people get killed in this world but no human being is perfect like God no matter how innocent they are. The murder of Jesus is a far worse sin than the murder of any other person.

They crucified not just any human being, but God Himself – this God who had never done anything wrong but loved everyone all His life on the earth. He had not even lifted a finger against anyone or said a bad word or bad thought against anyone!

And yet, this is LOVE that Jesus forgave them on the cross in the midst of His worst moment.

Jesus forgave the worst sins of humanity on the cross – such great love!

1 Corinthians 13 “Love keeps no record of wrongs”

God was in Christ and He was not counting our sins anymore, loving us unconditionally. Jesus who never sinned, became the entire world’s sins so that we can receive God’s righteousness freely and unconditionally by faith!

2 Corinthians 5 “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. ²⁰ We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ²¹ God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

He died on the cross for our sins to forgive us and rose from the dead to make us righteous.

No human being could do what Jesus did. Only Jesus did this.

This is unconditional love, because Jesus/God forgave us and justified us without our good deeds, before we did anything good. He did this while we were sinners!

Romans 5 “⁶ You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. ⁷ Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. ⁸ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is why Jesus is unique – standing tall above all other religions. This is why Jesus is God.

Every other religion is conditional love – where you have to do good deeds to be blessed/saved. This is just like the man-made systems in the world. There is no free lunch in this world. You have to work hard to earn a living and do good deeds to avoid jail. If a person does not work or does evil deeds, he will suffer the consequences. That is the system of the world and every religion is based on that system.

But Jesus is unconditional love – He suffered and died for our sins to give us every blessing and salvation freely as a gift, unconditionally not based on our good deeds !!

Jesus came to turn the world upside down! We are all sinners but Jesus came to love us and forgive us unconditionally that we receive by faith. He forgave all the sins of the world making peace on the cross. God is telling us that He loves us and forgives us through Jesus. Nobody has loved us like this!

This is why Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life – He is the Only God.

He proved His divinity by His resurrection. Nobody else has risen from the dead to live forever.

Only Jesus has done this – proving that He is Lord and God.

His power, His glory and more importantly His love proves that He is Lord and God.

Jesus is Lord of lords, the Word of God, He is God Himself, one with the Father, the only way to God, the only true love.. Jesus is Love, God is Love, and therefore Jesus is God.

This is why Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and the Life.
