Jesus has made believers equal to God !

This is the glory of the Gospel.

God became a man through Jesus Christ to make us equal to God, having all His glory!

John 17 ” I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me….25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.””

God the Father gave all His glory to Jesus Christ, His Son.

Jesus and the Father are ONE (John 10:30) because the Father lives in Jesus.

In the same way, Jesus came to live in all who believe in Him, so that the Father and Jesus are now one with us!

The glory of God is given to Jesus, and His glory is given to us!

Therefore the believer is ONE with God and Jesus, equal to their glory!

As Jesus and God are Holy, sinless, righteous, so are we believers because Jesus and God live in us!

The fullness of God dwells in the body of Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh.

Colossians 1-2 “15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together…. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation”

Colossians 2 “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. … 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, “

The believer has received the same FULLNESS of God that is in Christ.

How did that happen?

Jesus Christ is God who never sinned. He became one with us when He died on the cross. He consumed all our sins and death. He took away our sins and abolished our death on the cross!

Jesus rose from the dead because He is God and He never sinned.

Therefore we were raised with Jesus, as Sons of God, having the full glory and righteous perfection of God Himself !!

We are now in Christ Jesus. We died with Him on the cross and were raised with Him as new creations. It is Christ who lives in us! It is God who lives in us! Our sins are gone, and we have the full Righteousness of God in us!

Galatians 2 ” 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. “

Ephesians 2 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, “

We are seated on the throne of God with Jesus, in Jesus, as Sons of God, equal to God Himself.

Revelation 3 “21 To the one who is victorious (believes), I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.”

God gave all His glory to Jesus.

Jesus gave all His glory to us freely through the Cross and Resurrection!

Jesus is the Son of God, One with the Father.

We are Sons of God, One with the Father and Jesus.

We are seated on God’s throne with the Father and Jesus, having ALL their glory freely by grace!

We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, this is the secret place of the Almighty where no evil will come near us. We are protected from all evil and have every blessing in Christ !!

Psalm 91 ” Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,  and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him    and show him my salvation.”

We are sinless, perfect, holy, blameless, righteous, blessed in Christ.

We are equal to God and Jesus having all their glory and righteousness!
