This is the good news! Jesus Christ is the Son of God who never sinned but died for our sins and then rose again to make us sinless!
But this can be hard to believe for many people when we doubt the good news.
This is why Jesus rose from the dead to show His body that was pierced for our sins and give us peace because we are forgiven!
John 20 “24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
On the cross, Jesus suffered all the curses of sin and death and suffering to take away all our sins! He ended all the curse to give us blessings!
Isaiah 53 “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed….After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.”
John 1:29 “29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
Jesus eradicated all our sins on His body on the cross. He made us sinless.
The proof is that Jesus rose from the dead to declare us righteous!
Romans 4 “God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”
Jesus is the Son of God and God is His Father. This is because Jesus never sinned and He is holy, righteous and sinless just like God.
Jesus removed all our sins to make us holy, sinless and righteous children of God.
John 20 “17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Now God is our father. We are like Jesus.
Jesus died on the cross to remove our sins. Jesus rose from the dead without sin.
We were raised with Jesus.
When Jesus ascended to heaven, we also ascended with Him.
When Jesus sat down in heaven, we also sat down with Him.
God is the Father of Jesus.
God is also our Father.
Ephesians 2 “4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,”
All the curses, sin, and death ended with Jesus on the cross.
We have all the sinless perfection, righteousness, blessings, eternal life in Jesus!
We have EVERYTHING, EVERY BLESSING in Jesus.
Ephesians 1 “3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,”
As Jesus is sinless, so are we.
As Jesus is righteous, so are we.
As Jesus is blessed, so are we.
