If you believe in Jesus Christ, then realize that God chose you and drew you to His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

We did not choose Jesus but He chose us by grace.

John 15 “¹⁶ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit”

John 17 “² For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him….⁶ “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. ⁷ Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. ⁸ For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. ⁹ I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.”

The Father chose us and opened our hearts by His grace. He gave us to Jesus who called and we believed because of the Father’s love.

John 17 “¹² While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.”

Only those who are not chosen by God are condemned.

No man can come to Jesus unless God has mercy and draws them to Jesus.

The word “draw” is actually “drag or pull”. God the Father pulls us to Jesus to be saved. He makes us come to Jesus and believe in Him.

John 6 “⁴⁴ The Father is the one who sent me, and he is the one who brings people to me. I will raise them up on the last day. Anyone the Father does not bring to me cannot come to me. ⁴⁵ It is written in the prophets: ‘God will teach them all.’ People listen to the Father and learn from him. They are the ones who come to me. ⁴⁶ I don’t mean that there is anyone who has seen the Father. The only one who has ever seen the Father is the one who came from God. He has seen the Father. ⁴⁷ “I can assure you that anyone who believes has eternal life. ⁴⁸ I am the bread that gives life.”

The truth is that nobody wants to believe in Jesus and His grace unless God opens our hearts through the journey of life and we finally believe in His grace. We didn’t choose Jesus but He chose us by His grace. God predestined us before the foundation of the world to be His children.

Ephesians 1 “³ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in heaven. ⁴ In Christ, he chose us before the world was made. He chose us in love to be his holy people—people who could stand before him without any fault. ⁵ And before the world was made, God decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. This was what God wanted, and it pleased him to do it.”

Romans 8 “²⁸ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. ³⁰ And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”

That is why our salvation is guaranteed ! It’s because God predestined us, He called us, He made us righteous, He glorified us. He made us Sons of God, just like Jesus.

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is forgiven all sins, made righteous without works!
