You mean everything to Jesus!

Everyone has their favorite and precious thing in life: it could be our favorite car, or best memories, or a relationship or person in our life, that great vacation, the dream job, or the savings in the bank, favorite food, our sports team, etc…and those things mean a lot to us in our lives on earth. We are thankful for all of God’s blessings.

But how much do we mean to Jesus Christ and God?

Revelation 5 “you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.”

He purchased us with His blood – this shows that we mean everything to Jesus.

1 Peter 1 ” 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed …but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”

God did not give up something temporary like money or the things of the world for us.

God is the creator who made ALL things. He gave up something far greater than all of creation!

He gave up His life for us. He gave up Himself.

God is everything – without God there is nothing.

Jesus is everything – He gave up everything (HIMSELF) to save us.

Jesus is the LIFE (eternal life). His life is in the blood.

His Eternal Life and immortality is in His blood. He died to purchase us by His blood because we mean everything to Him!

He did everything to make us belong to Him

Romans 1:6 “And you also are among those Gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.”

We belong to Jesus Christ as His beloved bride!

A husband and wife are one in the flesh that is separated by death.

But our union in Christ is in the Spirit and is eternally inseparable because of His death and resurrection!

1 Corinthians 6 “For it is said, “The two (man and woman) will become one flesh.” 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.”

Ephesians 5:25-27 “Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”

We are His beloved bride and He is our beloved !

Song of Songs 6:3 “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine;”

Song of Songs 7:10 “I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me.”

We are so precious to Him that He gave up EVERYTHING for us as described in this passage:

Matthew 13 ” 44 “The kingdom of heaven (believers) is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man (Jesus) found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven (believers) is like a merchant (Jesus) looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”

We are more precious to Him than the entire universe!

That is why He gave up His own life.

We are more precious to Him than His own life

What amazing love that Jesus and God has for us!!

God has given us EVERYTHING because of His great love for us!

Luke 15:31 “‘My son,’ the father said…everything I have is yours”

God the Father gave us EVERYTHING HE HAS.

Jesus Christ did not sin and has no sin because He is God. He has all the glory, righteousness, sinless perfection and immortality of God! Jesus gave up everything on the cross by becoming our sin. He took all our sin and death on the cross – He forgave our sins and abolished our death on the cross – He made us sinless and perfect – and He proved it by rising from the dead – giving us ALL of God’s Glory, righteousness, sinless perfection, honor, and immortality. Jesus became nothing on the cross to give us EVERYTHING the Father has!!

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is forgiven all sins because we mean everything to Him who died for our sins and rose from the dead to make us righteous freely without our works!
