Many believers see themselves as sinners who struggle to please God.

But the truth is that Jesus Christ has made us righteous and glorious as God Himself.

Jesus Christ calls us as righteous as God.

2 Corinthians 5 “²¹ God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

It is because Jesus Christ did not sin but became sin on the cross so that we who did not do righteous deeds became the Righteousness of God freely by faith in Jesus!

Jesus died on the cross in our sins, dying with us and dying as us. He carried our sins and died our death in His own body on the cross.

Then after He forgave our sins in His own body, He rose from the dead, carrying all of us in His own righteous sinless body – thereby giving us the Righteousness of God freely!

When Jesus died, we died with Him.

When Jesus rose from the dead, we were raised with Jesus.

Jesus took away our death and gave us His life into our bodies when we believed.

Therefore you died on the cross, and don’t exist anymore. Your entire existence and identity is Christ in you. Only Christ lives in your body. It is not you and Christ living together. It is only God living in you through Jesus. CHRIST IN YOU !!

Therefore you are as righteous as Christ and God Himself ! God did this so that no man boasts in his own ability but that we boast in Jesus who is our Sinless Righteousness!

1 Corinthians 1 “²⁸ God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, ²⁹ so that no one may boast before him. ³⁰ It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. ³¹ Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Christ Himself is our Righteousness, Holiness, and Sinless Perfection.

I know this can be hard to believe when we struggle with our behavior at times.

That is why it’s called “faith”.

Remember that Abraham didn’t have children but God called him the father of nations who would have descendants as numerous as the stars!

Genesis 17 “³ Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, ⁴ “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. ⁵ No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. “

Abraham believed God’s word to be righteous without works!

Genesis 15 “⁵ He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” ⁶ Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.”

Just like Abraham believed in God’s powerful WORD and counted Him faithful, we also are called to believe in what Jesus did for us!

Romans 4 “¹⁸ Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” ¹⁹ Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. ²⁰ Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, ²¹ being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. ²² This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” ²³ The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, ²⁴ but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness”

How do we become Righteous? It is by believing in what Jesus did and ignoring our own flaws!

Romans 4 “⁵ However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness…—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. ²⁵ He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

Man’s life on earth is max 90-100 years, that is like nothing in God’s eyes.

For God, a 1000 years is like 1 day. Man’s life is like vapor, like the grass in the field.

James 4:14 ” What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

1 Peter 1 ” ²³ For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. ²⁴ For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,
²⁵   but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.”

Man may think that his life on earth is long but it’s nothing compared to the eternal glory and immortality of God.

God is immortal, eternal, everlasting, He has no beginning or the end

He is infinitely powerful, infinitely glorious, infinitely alive….forever more!

He is the TRUE LIFE…the ETERNAL LIFE…the sinless perfection…the immortality!

That indestructible life was shown in Jesus, who died for the sins of the world

He died with all of humanity, and He took away our sins. He died our death on the cross.

God raised us all up IN Jesus. He gave Christ’s LIFE TO US and IN US…who believe.

God gave His IMMORTALITY to us….

He gave God’s sinless perfection to us…

He gave EVERYTHING of God to us…

This is why Jesus calls the believer Sinless, flawless beloved bride, the righteousness of God

This is why God calls the believer, as His beloved SON….equal to God, seated at his right hand in JESUS.

Because it is JESUS in the believer…Christ IS our LIFE…He is our glory ..He is our immortality

He is our Righteousness…He is our wisdom..He is our holiness…He is our perfection !!!

Jesus became ONE with us believers….even when we were dead and were nothing….

Jesus became ONE with us on the cross…consuming our sin and death..and giving us HIS ETERNAL LIFE…

Being one with Jesus…means that it’s ALL JESUS in me, and nothing of me…

It is ONLY Christ’s life in me..He gave HIS LIFE To me because I was dead but now alive in Christ.

It’s not me and Jesus together. It is ONLY JESUS because He is Infinite God…He is GOD…

He GAVE ME LIFE because I was nothing….so I don’t exist…It is Christ IN ME the hope of Glory!

I am Righteous because Jesus is Righteous and His Righteousness is INFINITE…It is GOD’s GLORY in me.

God is infinite righteousness and sinless perfection that no man can compete..

That is why I am One with Jesus…and JESUS ALONE lives in me..

That is why Jesus calls me Righteous…because HE MADE ME RIGHTEOUS in His GLORY and LIFE in me!!
