How powerful and awesome is God? We find that by looking at the creation of the universe, multiple galaxies, solar systems, planets, suns, stars, moons, this beautiful earth, humanity, the animals, plants, trees, mountains, rivers, oceans, fruits, insects, the water, wind, fire, etc…

It is mind-boggling to see the vast expanse of all of creation.

But the God who created all of this is FAR GREATER than His own creation.

The creation is tiny and puny compared to GOD Himself.

Revelation 20 “11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.”

The entire cosmos will flee from the presence of God because they are nothing compared to God Himself.

The person of God is far greater than the entire creation of the vast universe!

We are thankful for His creation and we look at it in awe, but…it’s nothing compared to who and what God is!!

God is Spirit (John 4:24).

1 John 4 “God IS LOVE”

God is THE unconditional everlasting immortal perfect LOVE that gives us grace upon grace!

God is GRACE, God is LOVE.

God has no sin, He is infinitely righteous, sinless, holy because He is perfectly loving!

This is why God is greater than all of creation which falls short of His infinite glory of love and grace!

If God is infinitely greater than all of His creation, then His LOVE and GRACE is infinitely greater than all of creation!

His Grace and Love was revealed through Jesus Christ His Son on the cross.

John 1:17 “Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”

Nobody had seen God before they saw Jesus dying on the cross forgiving ALL our sins unconditionally, when Jesus said “FORGIVE THEM !!”

God’s LOVE and GRACE on the cross is infinitely GREATER than the entire universe!

Just as God is greater than all of His creation, so also is His love on the cross far greater than anything else seen or heard.

1 Corinthians 2 “2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified……we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.”

It is because God gave up HIMSELF on the cross. He is far greater than the creation and His entire being was given up on the cross and He rose from the dead to give us HIMSELF, giving us EVERYTHING in HIM to us which we freely receive by faith in Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:21 “God made Jesus who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Jesus we might become the righteousness of God.”

It’s beyond comprehension!

The Cross of Jesus Christ is the revelation of God’s infinite love for the human race!

The Cross is far greater than the creation of the cosmos in Genesis 1.

The Cross stands tall above everything else!

God who is LOVE, stands tall through the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, far greater than all creation!

Ephesians 1 “19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked”

The love of God through Jesus cannot be contained in books!

John 21 “25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”

It can only be known through His Spirit living in us by faith in Jesus.

Ephesians 1 ” 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people”

Salvation is to know this infinite LOVE of GOD through faith in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3 “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

In Jesus Christ, the FULLNESS of God appeared in bodily form. Jesus is God and He is far greater than all of creation!

When we believed in Jesus, we who were dead in sin became ALIVE, FULL with God living in us because we became alive with Christ, forgiven all sins! We received the same FULLNESS of God in us by faith because Jesus lives in us! We were dead but Jesus gave us HIS LIFE to us make us as sinless and righteous and perfect as GOD !! This is the Gospel.

Colossians 2 “9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. … 13 When you were dead in your sins, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins”

It is mind-boggling that God would come down to earth and die on the cross taking away all our sins and rising from the dead to give us ALL His glory, His sinless perfection, His immortality, to make us Sons of God, who are equal to God, sharing in His glory and righteousness. It is astonishing that God would give up HIMSELF to make us His sinless and perfect children!!

It is pure love that God would take all our sins on His body and die to give us all His righteousness freely through Jesus.

This is love – that God gave HIMSELF to us to make us FILLED with God through Jesus Christ.

Everyone who believes in Jesus is forgiven all sins, freely by grace and not by works because of God’s love on the cross that is greater than all of creation!
