We are hidden in Christ, our hope of glory!

The entire human race was dead in sin until Jesus Christ came.

Jesus came to give His Eternal life to all who believe in Him so that we are hidden in Him.

We completely find our existence in Jesus.

When we were dead, Jesus died with us on the cross. He was crucified on the cross and we died with Him. It was our death on the cross.

2 Corinthians 5 “we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all,”

Romans 6 “For we know that our old self was crucified with him”

Galatians 2 “20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”

Ephesians 2 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”

Colossians 2 “12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins”

When Jesus died on the cross, our old self from Adam, died on the cross with Jesus.

When Jesus rose from the dead, we were made alive forgiven all sins and raised with Him.

God raised us up with Jesus, as new creations, filled with God’s Righteousness and glory.

God seated us with Jesus in heaven in the Spirit as Sons of God.

Ephesians 2 ” And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”

We are hidden in Christ.

When Jesus died on the cross, we died, forgiven all sins.

When Jesus rose from the dead, we were raised with Him, righteous and perfectly sinless.

When Jesus sat down in heaven, we sat down with Him, as Sons of God.

Whatever Jesus does, the same thing happens to us!

As Jesus is, so are we in this world. It is because Jesus lives in us. Our entire existence is Jesus. We are Jesus walking on the earth because we are one with Him in the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

1 John 4 “In this world we are like Jesus.”

1 Corinthians 6 “17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.”

It is because our life is hidden in Christ.

When Jesus returns in bodily form at His 2nd coming, then we will also receive glorious immortal bodies just like Jesus.

Colossians 3 “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

Christ is living in us. We died but we are alive because Christ is in us, the hope of glory!

Colossians 1 “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Whatever happens to Jesus, happens to us.

We died with Jesus on the cross.

We were made alive in Jesus in His resurrection.

We are now seated in heaven with Jesus.

When Jesus appears in glory, we will also appear in glory!

We eagerly look forward to His return to give us His glory.

But as we live in a troubled world, our only hope is in Jesus to return and glorify us

Philippians 3 “20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”

Philippians 4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! “

2 Corinthians 4-5 “16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”

God has promised to glorify us in the 2nd coming of Jesus. His promise is true because He has given us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 1 “18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”

Whatever happens to Jesus will happen to us.

We are sinless, righteous as Jesus is seated in heaven now.

When Jesus appears in glory, we will also appear with Him in glory!
