Believers are seated at God’s right hand, as glorious sons!

Before Jesus died on the cross, His disciples asked Jesus to sit next to him on the throne!

Mark 10 “35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want you to do for us whatever we ask.” 36 “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. 37 They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.” 38 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?” 39 “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, 40 but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

The disciples wanted to follow Jesus by their works.

But Jesus asked them if they could follow Him to the cross? They would die in persecution as Christ’s apostles. But their death would not compare anything to the Cross of Jesus.

The truth is that only Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world. He took away all the sins and ended the law on the cross.

He rose from the dead and sat down at the right hand of God in heaven, having finished the work in purifying all our sins!

Hebrews 1 “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. “

Hebrews 10 ” Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. 14 For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are made holy.”

Jesus sat down after making us sinless, holy and perfect by His death and resurrection.

The believers have been raised with Christ and SEATED in heavenly places as God’s children!

Ephesians 2 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. “

Look at the Goodness of God and His GREAT LOVE.

He has SEATED us in heaven in Christ, as HIS BELOVED CHILDREN.

Jesus became us on the cross, so that we became JESUS as SONS of GOD in heaven!

We are now equal to God.

God has given us ALL HIS SINLESS RIGHTEOUS GLORY freely by grace through Faith in Jesus!

Jesus is seated at God’s right hand, as HIS SON, HIS EQUAL, on the same throne of the Father.

The disciples asked Jesus who can sit next to him, BEFORE CROSS.

Jesus said it’s up to the Father!

After the cross, we believers are ALL SEATED in CHRIST at God’s Right hand as SONS of GOD…ALL BY GRACE

It is Christ who lives in us…We are not sinners but we are Sinless Righteous Sons of God and God lives in us!
