We live in a strange world.

On one hand, we have the beauty of creation and the majesty of God’s handiwork.

We look at the magnificent complexity of our human bodies, etc.

We are thankful to God for the good that we enjoy on earth.

But we also see a dying world with wars, disease, death, corruption, and people running after the vain desires of their hearts that don’t know God.

God did not create mankind to die in their sins. This all happened because God gave man control of this world through the sin of Adam.

A lot that happens in this world is not God’s will. It is a world controlled by fallen men who don’t know God and His Son Jesus.

God wants to save the world and that is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and raised from the dead to make us righteous by faith without works.

1 Timothy 4 ” ⁹ This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. ¹⁰ That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.”

God has already forgiven the sins of the entire world. He has justified us by the blood of Jesus after He was resurrected. All He wants is for this world to be saved from the coming judgment. They can be saved by simply believing in Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5 “¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! ¹⁸ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. ²⁰ We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ²¹ God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

God is not counting the sins of the world anymore. He took away all our sins on the cross of Jesus Christ. It is because Jesus did not sin as He is God Almighty, but He became all our sins on the cross and died with us on the cross. He died our death. Then God raised Him without sin but in perfect righteousness. We were also raised with Jesus in His resurrection, forgiven all sins, made as sinless and righteous as God !!

Everyone who believes in Jesus is forgiven all sins, and made righteous.

Everyone who believes in Jesus is a new creation in Christ, sinless, perfect and righteous as God Himself, becoming the Sons of God.

The reason God has not yet destroyed the world because He loves the world so much, He loves the people and wants them to be saved before the end of the world.

He looks with great compassion and love on people who are living their lives, toiling on earth, dying in sin.

Jonah 4 “people who cannot tell their right hand from their left”

Luke 23 “³⁴ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

This is why He sent Jesus to die on the cross to forgive our sins and save us if we simply just believe!

He has made salvation so easy – there are no works to do, but simply believe in Jesus who died for our sins and was raised to make us righteous without works!

He wants as many people to be saved as possible!

That is why He is waiting patiently for people to believe in Jesus so that they can be saved on the judgment day at the 2nd coming when the world will be destroyed.

God will create a new world with Jesus Christ on the throne, in a new world filled with righteousness, glory and perfection – without sin, death or pain or sorrow.

Jesus took away all the pain, death, sorrow, and sin on the cross. He rose from the dead as proof that He will come again to bring salvation to all who believe in Him.

Everyone who believes in Jesus, is forgiven all sin, and will receive the glory of God in the new world to come.
