We know that Jesus died to take away our sins.
We know that we are righteous by faith in Jesus Christ.
But many Christians still think of themselves as sinners.
While some believers think that they are righteous in their spirits, but they feel that their bodies still sin. It’s because the believer does not understand what Jesus has done for them.
The good news is that Jesus died and suffered in body, soul, and spirit on the cross.
He did this to make us perfectly sinless in body, soul, and spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5 “23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”
This is so important to believe:
The full righteous sinlessness of God was in Christ’s body. We are complete in Christ having His full sinless perfection in our body, soul, and spirit.
Colossians 1 “9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness….13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,”
We have been enriched in every way possible by Christ (body, soul, spirit)
1 Corinthians 1 “4 I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge—”
