Paul said this to the Corinthian believers:

1 Corinthians 1 “⁴ I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. ⁵ For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— ⁶ God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. ⁷ Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. ⁸ He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

As believers, we have GRACE given to us in Jesus Christ.

We have been enriched spiritually in every way.

We don’t lack anything spiritually. We are spiritually complete in Christ.

We are holy, blameless in Christ.

We have fellowship (equal relationship) with God and Jesus because we are children of God, sons of God, being one with the Father and Son.

We are one with Jesus – holy and righteous without any sin

1 Corinthians 6 “¹⁷ But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.”

The Corinthians were not perfectly behaved just like believers today.

But we are fully sanctified, holy, righteous in Christ

1 Corinthians 6 “you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

This is not by works but by Grace of God

Titus 3 “. ⁴ But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
