The believer is one with God and Jesus!

When man sinned, he died spiritually, he lost the presence of God’s spirit and was left all alone, spiritually speaking. This is called spiritual death.

But Jesus Christ died on the cross and was forsaken by the Father to taste spiritual death on the cross.

Matthew 27 “45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).”

Jesus also died physically on the cross to take away all the sins of the world.

He rose from the dead, forgiving all our sins!

Now God and Jesus come to live with us when we believe in Jesus.

John 14 “23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. “

John 17 “21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. “

We are God’s beloved children in Christ. We are one with Jesus and therefore we are one with the Father. We are in the family of God, and He is our Father.

1 Corinthians 6 “17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.”

Colossians 2 “13 When you were dead in your sins, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins”

Ephesians 2 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,…For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. “

The believer is alive, forgiven all sin because Christ and the Father live in us. We are seated with them in heavenly places, perfectly sinless and righteous by grace through faith and not our works!

Our bridegroom, Jesus is sinless, so are wel.

Our Father is sinless and righteous, and so are we, as His beloved children!

The Father and Jesus are living in us.

As they are sinless and righteous, so are we believers!

We are one with them!

We’re not ungodly sinners but we are godly children of God.

As the Father and Son are One, we are also one with Jesus and our Father.
