Saved by grace through Christ’s death and resurrection and not our works

Ephesians 2:4-9 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Man cannot do good works to be saved. There’s nothing we can do to become perfectly sinless like God. All of humanity is dead in sin, separated from God.

But God loves us so much that He sent His perfect Son, Jesus who never sinned.

He died on the cross for our sins.

He rose from the dead.

If you believe in Jesus, all your sins are forgiven on the cross and you are made alive with Christ, and seated in heavenly places.

This means that you are forgiven, and now holy, blameless, sinless as Jesus Himself. It’s because Jesus has no sin and He is God. You receive all this righteousness of God by faith and not by works.

Everyone who believes in Jesus is saved by grace and not by our good deeds.

Everyone who believes in Jesus is forgiven all sin and made sinless and righteous through His death and resurrection, and not their good deeds !!
