As Jesus is, so are we believers

Many believers feel incomplete – maybe due to a lack of some earthly blessing or in their behavior.

But Jesus died on the cross to give us every spiritual blessing in heaven.

Ephesians 1 “3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

Jesus became nothing on the cross to make us everything!

2 Corinthians 8 “9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”

I am not talking about earthly riches and blessings – because even unbelievers get those things. Jesus gave up everything in heaven to give us all His glory in heaven!

The spiritual riches are to be loved unconditionally, declared righteous, forgiven all sin, and live forever with God in heaven.

Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins and make us sinless by His resurrection.

Everyone who believes in Christ is complete, sinless, perfect, righteous as Jesus Himself.

Colossians 2 “9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness….13 When you were dead in your sins, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, “

The believer is not two persons living in one body.

It is not you and Jesus battling over you. You died with Christ. You don’t exist anymore. Christ lives in you.

Galatians 2 “19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. “

When Jesus died, we died.

He died as us on the cross.

We rose from the dead as Jesus!

1 John 4 “In this world we are like Jesus.”

As Christ is holy, perfect, sinless, righteous, seated in heaven with God, so are you, dear believer!

Ephesians 2 “4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”

Everyone who believes in Jesus, receives the forgiveness of sins and becomes perfectly righteous in Jesus without doing a single work!
