Jesus will come again!

Jesus will come again!

Jesus told the 12 Apostles what will happen:

Luke 21 “20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”

Jesus said that Jerusalem would be destroyed by armies and that the Jews would be killed in the great tribulation/distress upon Israel. This happened in AD66-70 when 1 million Jews were killed and many more were taken as prisoners by the Romans to the nations.

Jerusalem was trampled by Gentiles from AD70 until the 20th century.

Israel was hardened and the Gospel has been preached to the Gentile world for the last 2000 years.

Romans 11 “25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.””

Jesus will return in the end to save Israel and fully reveal the New Covenant on the earth when all believers will be resurrected at His 2nd coming/rapture which will be preceded by great signs on the earth and all nations will see it.

Luke 21 “25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

We look forward to His 2nd coming to bring resurrection and eternal life.

Philippians 3 ” 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”

Jesus will keep us blameless till that last day.

1 Corinthians 1 “4 I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— 6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

God is Faithful.

Jesus will come back.

He will save us on that last day. He will keep us blameless till the end.

Let us keep believing till the end.

Colossians 3:4 “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

1 corinthians 15 “58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
