WILL EVERY KNEE BOW to JESUS and prove UNIVERSAL INCLUSION TRUE?
Paul said in Philippians 2, that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord. Does this mean that everyone will be saved ultimately?
Let us read the CONTEXT:
Philippians 2
“10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
Does that mean that everyone is saved??
We find the ANSWER in the next verse!
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. 14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
Paul exhorted people to continue in the faith so that they would become blameless and pure and shine like the stars in the sky. If they did not believe, then Paul would have preached in vain!! His preaching would have been useless if they trusted in the Law, then they would not be saved.
Now look at Daniel 12 to confirm WHO are the ones who shine like stars in the sky ?? – It is NOT EVERYONE !!
Daniel 12
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”
Who are the ones shining like stars?
It is ONLY the ones who believe! Only those whose names are written in the Book of LIFE
are saved! The ones who did not believe in Christ are NOT saved! They are not shining like stars!
Let us also see Isaiah 45
“22 “Turn to me and be saved,
all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.
23 By myself I have sworn,
my mouth has uttered in all integrity
a word that will not be revoked:
Before me every knee will bow;
by me every tongue will swear.
24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone
are deliverance and strength.’”
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.
25 But all the descendants of Israel
will find deliverance in the Lord
and will make their boast in him.”
all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.
23 By myself I have sworn,
my mouth has uttered in all integrity
a word that will not be revoked:
Before me every knee will bow;
by me every tongue will swear.
24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone
are deliverance and strength.’”
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.
25 But all the descendants of Israel
will find deliverance in the Lord
and will make their boast in him.”
If we read the context, we see that only those who trusted in the Lord are saved and those who raged against Him are put to shame (the same language of Daniel 12).
Jesus Christ does not change – He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Jesus Christ – the Alpha and Omega said this would happen on the judgment day.
Revelation 21
4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Jesus Himself said that ONLY those who believe in Him will be saved.
Everyone else perishes forever. Those who loved wickedness would perish in the lake of fire (2nd death). There is not a single scripture in the Book of Revelation that says that sinners will be “purified” in the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the 2nd death. There is no salvation in the lake of fire! There is no coming back once a person has been judged.
Only the GLORY of the nations are resurrected into the New Jerusalem on that final judgment day: Nothing impure will be saved.
“22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.“
The Book of Life is not a Jewish book because Christ did not only die for Israel but for all humanity past, present and future. This is why Paul preached to the nations.
We see that Gentiles (nations) names are written in the Book of Life:
Philippians 4
“2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.”
But ALL people are NOT going to be saved ultimately as the book of Revelation says!
When it says “Every knee will bow” and “every tongue will confess Jesus as LORD”
– it is only talking about the believers! READ THE CONTEXT.
It’s because the unbelievers and those who love wickedness will perish outside the New Jerusalem forever.
When we take the verse out of context – we get a CON.
The name of that CON is “universal inclusion/reconciliation”
Let us honor Jesus Christ by correctly preaching from the Bible using the context instead of creating false delusional doctrines because we want everyone automatically saved.
Jesus wants everyone to be saved but let us honor Jesus and not our man-made ideas.
Jesus always said that ONLY those who believe in Him will be saved.
For EVERYONE who BELIEVES in Jesus will bow their knee and confess Him as LORD.
ARE ALL NATIONS/FAMILIES blessed in Abraham?
Genesis 18
“18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.”
Psalm 22
“All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,”
Does this mean that all of humanity will be saved?
No, let’s see how we are blessed under Abraham
Galatians 3
“7 Understand, then, that those who have FAITH are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by FAITH, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So those who rely on FAITH are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith 13 Christ redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by FAITH we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through FAITH, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 IF you belong to Christ, THEN you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Romans 4
4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but TRUSTS God who justifies the ungodly, their FAITH is credited as righteousness.
18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his FAITH and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” 23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who BELIEVE in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”
Abraham was justified by his faith before he died.
Everyone who believes in Jesus are the children of Abraham.
It does not say that all humanity is blessed.
How was Abraham himself blessed – by faith.
How is everyone blessed? By faith in Christ’s finished work.
This clearly proves that universal salvation/inclusion/reconciliation is FALSE.
I believe in God’s word and NOT man’s preaching.
Romans 3 “Let God be true, and every human being a liar. “
What is the TRUTH?
Romans 10 “9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Wow, the good news sure sounded better when you said that all would be saved.

If all are saved, then there’s no need to preach the gospel.
Jesus and the Apostles never said that all are saved.
Many people twist Paul’s words to imply universal salvation. But I prefer to believe in Jesus and the Apostles
of whom Peter said this:
2nd Peter 3
15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
Also you can look at my other blogs which clearly show that the Gospel was never about universal salvation:

Universal salvation is a deception. It is a man-made fantasy.
I will not go beyond what is written in the Bible – which is God’s revelation to mankind.
It says that only those who believe in Jesus Christ are saved.
