Does ALL mean universal salvation?

1 Corinthians 15 “21 For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.”

Does this mean that ALL in Adam will become ALL in Christ even if they don’t believe? Let Paul give us the answer in the same chapter:

1 Corinthians 15 “Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.”

Jesus offers salvation for ALL in Adam but you have to believe otherwise you will be condemned.

Once a person believes in Jesus, then they are IN Christ and will be saved. But those who reject Christ remain in Adam and will be condemned.

Are all justified automatically without faith?

Romans 5 ” 18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.”

Paul gives the same answer….we must believe in Jesus to be justified.

Romans 5 “Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;”

Are ALL reconciled ?

Colossians 1 “21 You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds, 22 yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him, 23 if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.”

But Paul again says that we must have faith in Jesus to receive the reconciliation.

On the Cross, God has offered reconciliation to ALL but we need to be reconciled back to Him by faith in Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5 “18 But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

So then what about this one? Will ALL be saved ?

Romans 11 ” that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and so all Israel will be saved….. 32 For God has bound all to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.”

Ok let’s read the rest of the chapter, and see what Paul is talking about.

Israel rejected Christ so that the gospel went to Gentiles. But one day Israel will believe in Jesus. It does not mean that ALL people will be saved. It just means that the “full number” of people who will believe, will actually believe to be saved.

Romans 11 “But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. “Now here is the KEY…..people are saved by FAITH but will be cut off by UNBELIEF…Romans 11 “19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.” 20 True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don’t be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God didn’t spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 They also, if they don’t continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.”

Peter warns us NOT to twist Paul’s words.

2nd Peter 3 “13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight. 15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”

My goal is to show you the TRUE gospel so that NOBODY IS DECEIVED and decides to reject Christ with the false sense of security thinking that they will supposedly be saved even after unbelief.

The true Gospel of the True Jesus Christ is that only those who believe in Him are saved.

Those who reject Him are condemned forever with no salvation.
