The Gentiles were never under the Law

The only option today is GRACE in Christ.

Why are so many Christians running after the law?

The law was ONLY given to Israel and not the Gentiles.

PSALM 147 “He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. 20 He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the Lord.”

The Gentiles perished outside the law and Israel was judged by the law.

Romans 2 “12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.”

So then nobody was righteous – not the Jew or the Gentile.

This is WHY JESUS DIED on the CROSS to ABOLISH THE LAW so that both Jew and Gentile can be saved by GRACE through FAITH without works.

EPHESIANS 2 ” 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast…..11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)— 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has DESTROYED the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by SETTING ASIDE in his flesh THE LAW with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.”

The 12 Apostles were sent to the 12 tribes of Israel (Matthew 10, Galatians 2) and those Jewish believers still kept the law until the temple was destroyed in AD70 (Acts 21, Heb 8:13)

But Paul was sent to the nations / Gentiles (Acts 13-28) to preach Grace through faith apart from the law.

Therefore a return to the law or Jewish traditions is simply not needed and goes against the Cross of Jesus Christ.
