John 1:17 “17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”The Ten commandments was given through MOSES…BUT….GRACE came through Jesus Christ…TRUTH came through Jesus Christ….What does that mean?

• The truth is NOT in the law anymore.
• There is NO grace when you trust in the law.

If you trust in the Ten Commandments for salvation then the same Law will accuse you.

JOHN 5 “45 “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

Some people know the law but do not come to Jesus for Eternal life.

JOHN 5 “38 nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. 39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.”

What must you do to have Eternal LIFE ?

SIMPLY BELIEVE in JESUS and not trust in your works.

JOHN 3 “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

What is the WORK needed? IT IS NOT the Ten commandments but it is BELIEF in JESUS.

JOHN 6 “28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.””
