SAVED by FAITH alone (New Covenant: Gospel of GRACE)

Salvation is only given to those who obey the terms of the COVENANT.

Under the Old Covenant, Israel had to obey ALL the laws to be righteous/saved (DEUT 6:25). But Israel failed all the time, and therefore God made a NEW COVENANT.

What is the commandment of the New Covenant of Jesus Christ for salvation/justification?FAITH in JESUS CHRISTObedience in the New Covenant is to BELIEVE in Jesus.

ACTS 10:43 “43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who BELIEVES in him receives FORGIVENESS of SINS through his name.””

ACTS 16 “30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be SAVED?” 31 They replied, “BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

EPHESIANS 2 “8 For it is by GRACE you have been SAVED, through FAITH—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 NOT by WORKS, so that no one can boast.”

ROMANS 10 “9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be SAVED. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are JUSTIFIED, and it is with your mouth that you profess your FAITH and are SAVED.”

HEBREWS 10 “But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have FAITH and are SAVED.”

MARK 16 “Whoever BELIEVES and is baptized will be SAVED, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life..…..Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

JOHN 5 ““Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and BELIEVES him who sent me has eternal life and will NOT be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”

JOHN 6 ” For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and BELIEVES in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

JOHN 11 “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who BELIEVES in me will live, even though they die;”

ROMANS 4 “5 However, to the one who DOES NOT WORK but TRUSTS God who justifies the ungodly, their FAITH is credited as RIGHTEOUSNESS. …….for us who BELIEVE in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our JUSTIFICATION.”

ROMANS 3 “21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This RIGHTEOUSNESS is given through FAITH in Jesus Christ to all who BELIEVE.“
