Christ’s obedience fulfilled the law

Jesus fulfilled the law to make us righteous by faith in His obedience.
The law demanded perfect love for God and man.
Jesus alone loved God with all his heart, soul, and strength and loved His neighbor as himself by dying on the cross in obedience to God’s will and to love us by giving His life for us.
Matthew 16 “24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”
The disciples failed to carry the cross and follow Jesus.
Jesus alone died on the cross – because He alone is righteous.
He alone obeyed the law to make us righteous by faith in Him.
Romans 10 ” 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. 5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.””
Romans 5 “19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.”
We are righteous because Jesus is righteous and He lives in us.
