The believer is born-again and cannot perish anymore!

We are born again with imperishable seed by the resurrection of Jesus Christ and not our works!

1 Peter 1:3-4,23 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, …..For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”

We received NEW LIFE when Jesus (the Word of God) became one with us giving us a new Spirit created perfect, righteous, and imperishable.

He lives in us.

His Spirit is in us.

It is impossible for us to perish because Jesus will not die again.

We were dead in sin.

Our sins of the flesh were condemned in the body of Jesus Christ so there is no condemnation for us in the Spirit (Romans 8:1-3)

But now we are irreversibly born again in the Spirit.

The work is finished because Jesus rose from the dead.

We are forgiven and righteous by faith and not by works.
