Jesus rose from the dead to give salvation freely.
We cannot earn forgiveness by our own sacrifices of tears, confessions, repentance, offerings, fasting, sacraments, restitution, etc.
But only the blood of Jesus has forgiven all sin for those who believe!
Revelation 1:5 “Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood”
Ephesians 1:7 “in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of his grace,”
We cannot be righteous by good works, trying to love others, forgive others, obeying the ten commandments, obeying the sermon on the mount, going to Church, giving, praying, etc.
But we are righteous by faith in Jesus and not our works.
Romans 4:5,25 “But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness…who believe in him who raised Jesus, our Lord, from the dead, who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.”
Jesus did all the work because we couldn’t do it.
He became sin on the cross and died to forgive our sins.Jesus will not die again, therefore God will never remember our sins anymore (Hebrews 10:14-17).
God raised us with Jesus to make us Righteous and perfect children of God.
We died with Christ and were made alive with Jesus, having all His righteousness and glory, seated with Him in heaven.
All of this is by grace through faith and not by works.
Ephesians 2:4-6,8-9 “But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus….for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.”
Everyone who believes in Jesus is Righteous and Saved !!
Romans 10:4,9 “For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes…. that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
