The Cross: where our sin collided with Jesus and Forgiveness won the victory !!

The greatest struggle of many believers is whether Jesus really forgave our sins?

Especially in the case of our daily struggles and weaknesses.

We may sometimes find it hard to believe the gospel especially when the focus is on our performance.

But on the cross, all of the sins ever committed by humanity collided with the Grace of God in Jesus Christ.

The Jews had seen Jesus for 3.5 years and He did not sin.

And yet they brutally crucified Him for no fault of His own.

Whatever sins we have done, none of us have crucified Jesus.

So imagine what did Jesus do to those who crucified Him.

He said “Forgive them”.

It’s because He died on the cross, shedding His blood to forgive all our sins!

We may say, “I have messed up so bad”

Jesus says “You are forgiven”

We may say, “I sin every day and I can’t stop”

Jesus says, “You are forgiven”

We may say, “People will not forgive me for my mistakes”

Jesus says, “You are forgiven”

Paul imprisoned and killed many Christians but when he believed in Jesus, he was forgiven all sin.

There is no sin on earth that Jesus’ blood has not paid for !!!

The cross is where our sins collided with Jesus and His blood won the victory !!
