Jesus – humble and loving

Matthew 11:28-30 ““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.””

Jesus is God who created all things and in Him all things are held together (Colossians 1:15-20).

He has all the power and glory because He is the creator, Alpha-Omega.

He is worshipped forever.

But He did not push His power and authority on us.

He does not have an ego.

He is gentle and humble at heart.

He emptied Himself of all His glory to come to this earth because He loves us.

His passionate and unconditional love is the reason He came to the earth and took all our sin and shame on the cross.

So that we could receive forgiveness of sins, His glory and honor and righteousness freely as a gift by faith.

He did all of this out of love.

He is so gentle and humble.

He does not lord it over us.

But He came to serve us.

He is not demanding.

But He did all the work for us.

His love is so pure. He did this all just for us.

What a loving God is our Jesus!!
