The believer cannot be judged

The believer will not be judged because we are forgiven and eternally righteous thanks to Jesus Christ.

It is because this is all by grace and not our works.

Romans 4:5-8 “However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

When we believed in Jesus, we were forgiven all sin.

But what about our sins after faith in Jesus?

It will never be counted against us.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! …God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. … God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Our sins were judged once and for all on Christ on the cross.

It cannot be repeated.

Therefore our sins are eternally forgiven.

Jesus rose from the dead to gift His righteousness to us.

He lives forever. Therefore believers are eternally righteous.

This is why God will never count our sins against us.

They have been forgiven all because of Christ’s finished work.

Hebrews 10:17-18 “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.”

Christ’s love for us means that we will never be judged.

1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind…Love keeps no record of wrongs

Rejoice, dear believer – there is no more judgment for you thanks to the love of Jesus Christ:

John 5 “24 “Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
