One way ticket from Adam to Christ

1 Corinthians 15 “22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

There are only two kind of people on this earth.

Those in Adam vs those in Christ.

Every human being is physically the descendant of Adam.

But when we put our faith in Christ, we are born-again as children of God in Christ.

Every unbeliever is dead in sin under Adam – irrespective of good or bad behavior because their unbelief condemns them.

But by faith in Jesus, every believer is made alive in Christ, apart from our works. This includes every believer ranging from the thief on the cross to the Apostle Paul and everyone in between.

In the parable of vineyard laborers in Matthew 20, we see that Christ gives the same salvation to every believer no matter how many good works we do.

This is because we are righteous not by our works but only based on faith in Christ’s obedience of death on the cross and His resurrection.

Romans 5 “Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life. 19 For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.”

At the final judgment, there are only two verdicts: Sheep vs Goats, Wheat vs Tares, Wise vs Foolish, and all other judgments in the Bible simply boils down to this one criteria: Did you believe in Jesus Christ?

There are only two verdicts:

  • Salvation, Forgiveness, Righteousness, and Eternal Life for the believer in Christ.
  • But Judgment, Condemnation, Wrath, and Eternal Death for the unbeliever in Adam. When we believed in Jesus, we became included IN CHRIST.

Ephesians 1:7,13-14 “in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace….In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.”

Once we believed, we received the forgiveness of sins as a free gift with the promise of the inheritance (resurrection)

1 Corinthians 15 “56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Those in Adam are under the Law, and will die in their sins because they trusted in their works.Once we believe in Christ, we cannot return to Adam. We have guaranteed salvation because He died and rose from the dead and will come again.
