Peter had promised to follow Jesus and even die for His name.

But Jesus said that if anyone denied His name, then Christ would deny him too.

Peter denied Christ, not once, but 3 times, including in front of two girls, and finally with cursing and swearing.

Was Peter doomed? No.

He was restored by Jesus Christ with great love.

Peter believed and confessed his love for Jesus, 3 times.

No matter how much we have failed, we are forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ – the sinless one who died for our sins and rose from the dead to make us righteous, spotless, holy, and blameless by His great love.
