Jesus did not come to start a new religion.

He did not come to make an earthly kingdom.

He was born to save us from our sins.

Matthew 1 ” ²¹ She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

He lived a perfect sinless life and die on the cross to fulfill the law on our behalf.

We were all dead in sin. But Jesus was born under the law so that He could die on the cross with us and for our sins. He rose from the dead to make us righteous.

Galatians 4 “⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law, ⁵ that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children. ⁶ And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” ⁷ So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ, is forgiven all sins, made righteous as children of God.

Christ was born under the Law to redeem us from the judgment and condemnation.

When we believe in Christ, we become God’s children, free from the judgment of the law.

Galatians 3 “²⁵ But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. ²⁶ For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.”
