Saved by grace through faith without works to bear the fruit of good works

Ephesians 2 “4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.”
We could do nothing to save ourselves.
This is why Jesus Christ did everything. He lived the perfect life without sinning.
He died on the cross for our sins because we were dead in sin.
He rose from the dead, making us alive with Him, forgiving us eternally and declaring us righteous!
We received this great grace without works but simply by faith in Jesus.
So now we are free to do good works, not to attain salvation or earn brownie points with God but because Jesus lives in us!
We do good works because we are already saved by faith. We do good works to manifest His grace that saved us.
Titus 3 “4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 7 that being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;”
Titus 2 “11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12 instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; 13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.”

Hebrews 10 “10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 24 Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works”
