When we believe that Jesus forgave our sins, we received the Holy Spirit – the spirit of Christ Himself that cries out “Daddy/Papa/Father” to God.

We are now God’s children – part of His family!

Romans 8 “14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. 15 For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

There is no more fear of judgment because we know that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins and He rose from the dead never to die again – because we have been made righteous once and for all by faith – we are eternally forgiven and blameless!

The Holy Spirit is God’s love poured into our hearts when we first believed.

Romans 5 “Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; 2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God….5 and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us….8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

God knew that we would go through life facing the voices of fear, condemnation and doubt but the Holy Spirit is God’s love that reminds us we are forgiven and sealed until the last day.

Ephesians 1 “13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”

The Holy Spirit is the seal that guarantees our salvation.

No man can break this seal of love.

The Spirit of God will make sure that we never stop believing because He lives in us!

Isaiah 59 “21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.”

This is God’s New Covenant of love!

It is the unbreakable love of our Daddy for us children.
