Permanent Fellowship with God

We are in permanent fellowship with God our Father through Christ’s GRACE and not our works:

1 Corinthians 1 “4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus; 5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge; 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7 so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; 8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.”

The fellowship with God is our salvation. Some churches preach that salvation is by gracebut that fellowship is by works and that we need to confess sins to return to fellowship based on 1st John 1. Such teaching is MIXTURE and Galatianism because John was telling unbelievers to confess sins and come to fellowship (salvation).

1 John 1 “If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.’

The truth is that we are saved by grace and our fellowship is also by grace because the fellowship is salvation itself.

It is permanent and eternal because Jesus’ blood has made us blameless and perfect, enriched in everything by grace through faith and not our works.
