Salvation is constant in Christ

As believers, we have good days and bad days.

There are some days we may feel excited about our faith.

On other days we may feel down.

On some days, we are loving and kind. But on other days, we fail.

Thanks to Christ, our salvation is not based on the quality of our efforts.

We are not saved by our efforts that go up and down
but we are saved by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we receive by God’s grace through trusting/believing in Christ alone. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15 “Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures”

We all stumble MANY times as believers.

James 3 “For we all stumble in many things…”

But we are not saved by what we do.

We are saved by what Jesus Christ did for us.

John 19 “30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.”

When Jesus said “FINISHED” – He had paid the price for taking away all our sins.

When Jesus was buried in the tomb for 3 days, He took our sins away as far as the east is from the west.

Psalm 103 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”

When Jesus rose from the dead, He made us totally righteous without any trace of the record of our sins.

Romans 4 “But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works, “Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin.” who believe in him who raised Jesus, our Lord, from the dead, 25 who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

We are not righteous by our works – because we go up and down every day!

But we are righteous because Christ rose from the dead.

He is our Rock of Salvation – He does not change. He does not waver. He is perfect.

He is not dying every day – but He died once for our sins.

He rose from the dead once and for all, having given us HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Christ’s Righteousness is PERFECT and therefore dear believer, you and I are saved forever. Amen.
