Surely: God’s unbreakable oath!

Will God protect the believer from this plague?

Will God restore all our losses in this turbulent economy?

Will God bless the believer in these times of darkness.

Will God do what He says?

The answer is SURELY !! This is the promise He has made to us in Jesus Christ – our sure anchor and foundation – the One who loved us so much that He died for us and rose from the dead to enter heaven representing us forever before our Father God!

Hebrews 6

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” 15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.

16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

As surely as we trust in Jesus as our Righteousness apart from our works, surely His goodness and love will follow us all the days of our lives and surely He will protect us from deadly diseases and danger!

Psalm 23

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,

Psalm 91

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence…..no disaster will come near your tent.

It is because SURELY Jesus took all our dangers and diseases on His OWN body so that we can be healed, protected and blessed! By His blood we are FORGIVEN and not our efforts!

Isaiah 53

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

God loved us so much that He gave up His most precious possession – His OWN BELOVED SON for our sake! If God gave up His beloved Son for us, then just imagine How much He LOVES US! He gave us HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and GLORY freely by grace! So then He will SURELY bless us with earthly blessings!

Romans 8

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Jesus Christ is our mediator and representative in the presence of God.

We are in Christ, holy, blameless, righteous children of God and our Father blesses His children. He who has saved us from hell will surely save us from the plagues and economic turmoils.

For as surely as Jesus has died on the cross, this is the oath and promise that God will keep His word and bless His children! SURELY! And we say Amen!
