The Lord will provide

In these confusing and difficult times, the Lord Jesus is our Good Shepherd who laid down His life for us in the midst of the enemy’s death and disease in the world:

John 10

9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Let us meditate on the Psalm of Christ’s love for us:

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our good shepherd who died for us, and therefore He will take care of us and not let any evil come upon us. He takes care of our needs and protects us from dangers. He anoints us with His Spirit and overflows our cups and SURELY goodness and His LOVE will follow us all our days!

Praise the Lord Jesus our Salvation, our Righteousness, our hope and refuge!

Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, He was buried and rose the third day and will come to judge the world in the end.

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ, receives the forgiveness of sins, the free gift of righteousness of God and eternal life in heaven!
