God is better than we think

God is far better than any human being has imagined. From childhood we are taught that God is a judge who rewards people based on whether they are good or bad. We see so many problems in the world and we think that either God does not exist or that He is very hard to please. We think that we have to suffer and endure in great faith before He blesses us with prosperity and health. We think that His blessings can be taken away if we fail. We think that He sends suffering to teach us lessons.

But God’s thoughts are not man’s thoughts. All of the thoughts above are man’s ideas about God. But Daddy God is far better than we think.

Isaiah 55:8-13 ““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it  without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”

His ways are much better than we can imagine. God does not send suffering. He does not test our faith or patience. Which father does that to His kids? If we as human beings do not send our kids through the fire then how much more will Daddy God not do such ridiculous things? All those negative ideas about God are because man’s mind looks at God through the lens of the law. We think that God is judging us and looking at our flaws and therefore we think that He will bless us only if we qualify by faith and/or works.

But Daddy God shows us His will. He sent His word to us. Jesus was the word who became flesh and dwelt with us. God saw mankind suffering on earth thanks to the Adamic mindset of knowing good & evil. Therefore God became a man to suffer for us – Jesus is God who came in the flesh and who suffered for the simple reason of blessing us. He did not come to the earth in vain. He was successful in doing the will of God.

Hebrews 10:5-10 ” Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’ First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all…..He has made us perfect by one sacrifice”

God’s will was not for our sacrifices or suffering. He did not want our works or efforts! His will was that He would come through Jesus and take away the old covenant law and establish a new covenant where God made us PERFECT and HOLY once and for all!

Hebrews 10 “I will make a new covenant…I will remember their sins no more”

Jeremiah 32 “I will make a new covenant…I will never stop doing good to them”

The old covenant judged humanity because they wanted to know good and evil. That’s why man had a wrong image of God based on the law and not His true nature. They did not know His true nature until Jesus came to reveal the Father.

Jesus came and did not sin and yet He died for our sins. He removed the law in 70AD at the 2nd coming. Therefore we are not under the law. Jesus became sin so that we have become righteous. Jesus suffered so that we can be blessed! God made a new covenant where He will never remember our sins anymore. He does not send suffering or delays or obstacles in our lives! He only knows to send BLESSINGS that never end!

This is the true nature of God that we saw in the garden. God was DADDY to Adam and He provided everything freely to Adam – including the tree of life ! Everything was given freely to man in spite of him being imperfect and naked. This shows the true loving heart of Daddy God. He only knows to bless mankind. But it was our minds that were corrupted from the simplicity of Daddy’s love. Adam’s knowledge of good/evil corrupted humanity’s minds and we saw God as a harsh taskmaster. Therefore in the same way, it is through the last Adam (Jesus Christ) that we can see God’s true nature.

Jesus was the word of God that came and FINISHED the work. He took away our sins to make us righteous. He endured our suffering to give us God’s blessings. He showed us Daddy’s heart that would do anything for His kids. God is our Daddy who does not put us through the fire but He is the One who went through the fire of suffering for our sake so that HE CAN BLESS US !

Daddy God loves you – Love does not keep record of wrongs. Love does no evil. Love only does good. Jesus never even hurt a fly. He never made people sick. He only healed and blessed people. He did not send accidents but He died for us. He became poor to prosper us. He was crucified by people who hated Him and yet He forgave them and blessed them!

Let’s see the true image of God in Jesus and renew our minds.

Believe in Jesus and be set free. Amen!

Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead after 3 days. Everyone who believes in Jesus receives the forgiveness of sins, eternal life and the righteousness of God as a free gift.
