Let me give you the good news – Daddy God’s promises are unbreakable!
DADDY GOD IS FAITHFUL!
Hebrews 6 “13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” …..People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie….We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.“
God is not a man who says one thing and does something else! When God gives His word to you, then He will surely do it. He made an oath through Jesus’ death on the cross. When Jesus said He would die on the cross, He did not lie! Therefore God does not lie – He is faithful in His promises.
Psalm 145 “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does”
GOD’S PROMISES ARE HIS RESPONSIBILITY!
Isaiah 54 “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you”
Under the Old Covenant, the blessings came only if man was faithful. But in the New Covenant, it is God who does everything! In the New Covenant even if circumstances shake us, His love never changes and His promises are unshakeable. It’s because Christ’s obedience is the only reason for our blessings.
When Daddy God sends His word to us, it will surely accomplish everything He has promised because we are in the everlasting New covenant of His faithful love!
Isaiah 55 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;……I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised“
In the old covenant, man had to do everything, but in the new covenant, God does everything – therefore the promises are guaranteed. We have nothing to do but simply receive it in due time. The new covenant is about God who says “I WILL”….It’s not based on “ifs/buts”. It’s only based on His will that is seen here: He has forgiven us all sins and provides all things.
Hebrews 8 “This is the covenant I will establish……I will be their God, and they will be my people…. I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
The law and it’s demands of perfect faith & obedience has passed away. Our flesh(human effort) and sin has passed away. In the New Covenant, it’s Jesus who does everything for us!
Revelation 21 “The old order has passed away….I am making ALL things new“
His blessings are not whether we are diligent in faith but because He is faithful! His name is Daddy. A loving Dad is always faithful to His kids! His children belong to Himself and therefore He can never fail us. His love is greater than our wavering or unbelief! His love always wins!
2 Timothy 2 “if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”
GOD’s PROMISES ARE TRUE FACTS!
His promises are not affected by external factors (people, circumstances, etc). They are not wishful fantasies but they are unconditional declarations of FACTS that WILL happen in the ordained time. It never gets delayed or canceled. It’s not based on conditions of our faith/works/etc. It is completely and utterly His doing! He spoke it and makes it happen! God is not the author of confusion or delays. He is perfect – His word is PERFECT ! It is always guaranteed to happen! It happens in the PERFECT time just when it is needed – not one minute late, not too early – but in the perfect way and perfect time!
Psalm 18 “As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless“
All of His prophecies in the Bible came true in the exact time. In Daniel 9, the people of Israel were given 490 years to accept Christ after the 2nd Temple was built. In the last 7 years of that period, Christ began His ministry and died 3.5 years later. In those 3.5 years, there were many times when Jesus was in danger but his death happened exactly as prophesied and nobody could delay it or prevent it. Jesus prophesied His 2nd coming within one generation of His coming when the Temple would be destroyed – this happened exactly 40 years (one Biblical generation) from the time of the cross. This proves that when God speaks a word then “IT IS WRITTEN” and no man can stop it or delay it. Jesus prophesied hat Peter would deny him. Jesus also prophesied that Peter would be restored and it happened! Jesus lived in a generation where the vast majority of Jews were opposed to him – but God still fulfilled all these prophecies in spite of great human unbelief and opposition!
When God speaks then it happens – nothing can stop it or delay it!
When God speaks, it’s not a “maybe” or “if/but’. It is YES and AMEN because of Christ’s finished work! It’s the DECLARATION of the guaranteed event in your life!
2nd Corinthians 1 ” 18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.”20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”
GOD’s PROMISES ARE TIMELESS!
Revelation 21 “He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.“
He is not bound by time because He is greater than time. He lives outside of time because He is eternal. He speaks only what He has DONE.The concept of “time and circumstances” are for human beings but God is Alpha and Omega – the beginning and End – He is above & beyond time and circumstances. He speaks in faith because it has already happened in the Spirit! He went ahead into our future and made it happen and that’s why He spoke it! It’s only a question of manifesting in due time for us.
When He sends His promise, He is stating the fact. He is simply telling us what is guaranteed. He is telling us because He saw it happening in the future. It’s already recorded in time. He is God who is greater than time. Time has no binding on Him. Daddy’s word and love is timeless! His love and faith endures forever! It’s not based on our faith or endurance but only because His love endures to guarantee it!
GOD’s PROMISES ARE ORDAINED/PREDESTINED
It does not happen based on our effort or planning. It happens because He has ordained it. He is the One who does it. His promises are WRITTEN as predestined events.
Psalm 139 “13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!”
Paul was a Pharisee who was killing Christians but Jesus appeared to him and fulfilled His calling as a preacher! It was not Paul’s efforts but only God’s love & grace!
Galatians 1 “ But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach”
GOD’s PROMISES ARE GUARANTEED BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS!
God is your Daddy who loves you. He’s a loving Dad who keeps His word. He died for us and gave us everything! His death is the proof that He will keep His promises! We are His children and His family. We don’t have to strive for it because we are His sons. We are not strangers or slaves trying to please Him because He is not our judge! The blessings are the family inheritance that are signed by the cross. A loving Dad always keeps His word. His death is proof that He will give us the blessings and fulfill His promises. If He died for you then surely His promises are 100% guaranteed.
Every blessing is purely because of the Cross and not because of our merits. It’s finished and it’s done. He made us righteous without our efforts/faith and therefore every earthly blessing is also because of His unconditional love & grace! If you know that you are righteous in Christ, then ALL things will be added to you.
Our unbelief or wavering cannot delay anything because we were made righteous by Christ’ faith and not ours! Therefore the earthly blessings are also by Christ’s faith! The faith was the fulfillment of the law. The law and Biblical faith ended in 70AD at the 2nd coming of Christ. Therefore Daddy God is not measuring our faith. His blessings are based on His love and it happens in due time!
No man or circumstance can cancel or delay His promises. Who is man, a mere mortal that can delay the Almighty God? If God opens a door of blessing for you, then no man (including yourself) can shut it! If God shuts a dangerous door for you, then no man can open it for you!
Hebrews 11 “3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
Daddy God is so powerful that He spoke the world into existence. He created you and me by just speaking the word. If He is so powerful to do all of that, then His word (promise) about our earthly lives will surely come true!
He raised Jesus from the dead in His power to forgive us and and make us righteous before we were even born!
Romans 4 “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”
Acts 13 ” But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.”
If Daddy God has raised Jesus from the dead to forgive our sins and make us righteous, then surely all His promises are unbreakable in His love!
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead after 3 days. Everyone who believes in Jesus receives the forgiveness of sins, eternal life and the righteousness of God as a free gift.
